documenting Western Great Lakes lighthouses. Terry Pepper, the site's owner,
is a walking encyclopedia about Great Lakes lights besides being a good friend.

you have to own this book. Nice, brief descriptions and good directions to
each light.

formed to preserve and restore this remote light station offshore of Leelanau
County, MI

What is widely recognized as a model lighthouse preservation organization
throughout the country, the DRLPS achieved a miraculous feat with the restoration
of their lighthouse, and their mission continues as they maintain it and make
it available for tours. I spent a weekend as a keeper on this light and it
is one of the finest I have seen.
