This is one of the rare occasions when I was able to actually see the sun come up.

The morning I made this photo was one of the most peaceful times I've ever experienced. After shooting the beautiful sunrise I just sat on the pier and listened to the foghorn at the North Manitou shoal light and watched the lake.
