The soul of the Bodie Island light, the amazing Fresnel lens in it's glory.

While this lighthouse looks to be in great shape, it's actually in very serious need of restoration. In 2004 a large chunk of the decorative iron railing visible in this photo fell to the ground. The NPS is currently working in conjunction with the OBLHS to bring Bodie back to her glory days.
