The Marquette Harbor lighthouse used to be nearly impossible to photograph from this angle, due to it's being on the grounds of a USCG base. But now tours are available from the maritime museum across the street, and are very much worth the trip.

And if you're into freighter watching, the Marquette pocket docks are one of the best spots on the lakes.
