The twin ports of Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin are among the busiest in the great lakes, at either end of the larget freshwater sandbar on erath. To guide all of this shipping traffic are four lighthouses; three at Duluth and one at Superior. These photos were taken in the summer of 2005 from the deck of the tour boat Keweenaw Star.
