
A rare piece of history, the U.S. Lighthouse Service buoy depot, built in 1903, which served the Duluth / Superior district for several years before being taken out of service sometime around 1910. You can still see the markings above the door, "USLHS DEPOT".
This building sits inside the Superior harbor, near the remains of the old Minnesota Point lighthouse.
