Bodie Island lighthouse, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, is not as recognizable as it's neighbor, Cape Hatteras. But despite it's status as a little brother, this lighthouse is a beautiful, elegant, and proud landmark of the OBX. After only two visits, this is definitely one of my very favorite lighthouses. Check out the sunset gallery for some low light shots of this light taken later in the evening than these.
